Tiger grass (Thysanolaena Taxima) grows in abundance in the hilly areas of Barangay Mangayon, Compostela, Davao de Oro. One of the strengths of the area is the growing number of Tahiti grass (Thysanolaena maxima) and farmers that engaged to Tahiti grass broom production.
